MINISTRY OF GRACE - MID WEEK BOOST

Grace Through Being Lost

While sitting in a, Level 2 Food Hygiene lecture, I found my thoughts straying, back to another place, another time. This straying occurred because the word Core was mentioned.

Before I was afflicted: I went astray: but now I have kept Thy Words.
Psalms 119:67

The lecturer, was demonstrating how to obtain the ‘Core’ temperature of food.
The place I wandered to, was a new home and the time was 2006, when my eldest would be commencing Secondary School.
As other parents do, we relocated to get our son enrolled in the school which we felt was best suited, for his onward journey.
Back in those days working from home was not as familiar as it is today. At my place of work, laptops were given to all managers. As Clinical Development Nurse, this made planning and implementing training sessions much easier.
One day, my computer would not switch on, the screen stayed blank. It was broken. And the news from the technician was not good either. ” The Core is broken”, he said. The Core, is the Central Processing Unit of a computer operating system. It is the main layer between the Operating System and the hardware. And performs basic services for all the other parts of the operating systems. It helps in process and memory management, file systems, device control and networking.
I was given a new laptop. But all information stored in the former, was lost. I later learnt that the process to retrieve it was laborious and needed to be done professionally.

For The Son of Man came to seek and save that which was lost.
Luke 19:10

For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 2:37

And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. A-men.
John 21:25

After that experience, much of my training was stored on ,Memory Sticks.

God’s Grace Through, Being Lost in Jesus is, Being Found.
Jesus Knows Where We Are.
Jesus Eyes are On Us
Jesus is Knocking on Our Heart
Jesus Wants to Come In

That was Mid-Week Boost for this Week.
