The interview process was lengthy, designed to be implemented in four stages, one day a week to be precise. Jake a recent graduate, enthusiastically applied. This was his dream job. As a Business Studies Graduate, it would be the ideal beginning for his career pathway.
Growing up, in a single parent household, with four other siblings, was hard.The close knit family, was familiar with financial struggles. Securing this job, would herald significant changes for them. One thing for sure, mother would not have to work so many hours and possibly they could acquire a place to call home. He kept the application and interview process a secret. And used volunteering at the local animal shelter, as the excuse.
The vigorous interview process, was nearing it’s end and Jake was relieved.
Today, he will pen a forty five minute presentation, on a topic of his choice.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Unfortunately, Jake was unsuccessful at the final stage of the interview process. He felt upset, but was pleased that no one else in the family knew.
He continued volunteering at the animal shelter and was eventually offered a position.
This resulted in a career transition. Jake, went on to Veterinary School. And today is the proud owner of a large veterinary clinic.
A man’s mind plans his way, but The Lord directs his steps and establishes them.
