The Burhey family was large, comprising three generations. Mr and Mrs Burhey, six children and Mr Burhey’s parents. The home was happy, all tasks shared, with everyone living in perfect harmony.

The ‘Big Issue’ really, was the family’s back yard. Mr Burhey, was an avid gardener. With the assistance of his Dad, they had taken over the back yard, by continually adding to the vegetable patch or a fruit tree to the orchard.
His love for propagating, brought a delicious variety to the family’s dining table. This he extended to the homeless shelter and recently the food bank was included.

Give, and it shall be given unto you: good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bossom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Mr Burhey, did make contact with the estate agent. The twenty acre holding and new build certainly filled his specifications.
Supplies to the Homeless Shelter and Food Bank continues.
Villagers are able to get their fresh fruit and vegetables from the farm shop.
And students, from the nearby secondary school, are encouraged to do, “Work Experience”, placements.
The propagation techniques are innovative, and world class. As a result, its Internship Program, is internationally sought after. And now, to manage his speaking appointments, Mrs Burhey organises the diary.
